TRAINING & JOBS
Peer 4 Peer are proud to offer genuine peer work opportunities.
Even though peer work is similar to disability support work, there are some very important differences.
Peer workers use their lived experience to build rapport with their clients (who are really their peers) and to inspire hope for recovery. Peer workers are considered equals to their clients, even if they may be a little ahead in the recovery journey. The basis of peer support is the trusting relationship between the peer and client.
We can provide training opportunities to people who have experienced mental health challenges and have come far enough in their own recovery to be ready to help others.
We understand the unique needs of of our peer workforce and we provide support and assistance accordingly.
Ready for this step in your life? We'd love to hear from you.
